I have arrived in Africa!!! I flew in from Amsterdam, Got through customs and met Tom, my guide from Mountain Guides International who will be taking us up Kilimanjaro.
After what seemed like forever on some very bumpy potholed filled roads we arrived at Springlands Hotel where I will be staying until our climb. It’s actually a pretty nice place.
I slept far to much on the plane here so I’m a little worried that I won’t be able to sleep tonight. But for now I’m going to go watch the Germany/France World Cup game.
